HOW TO STYLE BLAZERS FOR MORE THAN THE OFFICE
A blazer is a true wardrobe staple. Blazers look amazing paired with suiting pieces or not–which is what makes them so versatile. They enable any look to instantly become chic and classic.

Blazers are perfect for a business casual look. Pair a blazer with a nice pair of jeans and a bodysuit and it instantly elevates your whole outfit giving it a more professional vibe.
Rock your blazer on a date night by layering it over a sexier top like this faux leather tank. We opted for all black jeans and some heels to finish the look. It gives sexy sophisticated vibes.
Another fun styling option is to layer a belt over your blazer. The belt adds definition to your curves giving you shape and style. We paired this look with bike shorts and a tank, and you can make it dressy by adding a pair of heels or opt for a casual street look with a pair of sneakers.
A black satin slip dress is about as versatile as the blazer we have layered over it. Again, you can make this look super casual with sneakers, more professional with loafers (styled here), or add some heels and a clutch for a night out. It's a perfect outfit to take you from day to night with just a simple shoe and bag change.
On colder days, a blazer is a good layering piece over a sweater for both added warmth and style. Just add your favorite booties and a cute bag. This look could be worn with jeans, trousers, or faux leather pants as well. Depending on how chunky your sweater is, may dictate your type of blazer. And here's some of our PRO TIPS...
SLEEVE ROLL: A favorite trick of ours is to roll and/or push up your sleeves. You may have noticed that in all our blazer pics. It makes your outfit not feel so "stiff", but rather gives it an effortless look. Rolling your sleeves can make an oversized top/jacket look more polished rather than overwhelming you with its size. This trick also reveals the slimmest, most flattering part of the arm…the wrist and forearm.
One of our ways to do this is to use a rubber band or hair tie. Choose one that isn't super tight, cause you don't want it to be uncomfortable. But slip them over the sleeves, fold the cuff back, and then push the sleeve up! Voila, your sleeve stays put!
X-STITCH: The little x-stitches you find on the back bottom vent of your blazers and coats are supposed to be cut off before you wear them. They are only meant to keep the vent in shape during shipping and hanging on store racks. So be sure to snip those little threads and pull them out before wearing.
